No but like…there’s this thing where you naturally get treated better in society for being white.

I am done arguing about race for the following reasons.
- I am entitled to my opinion and you are entitled to yours.
- My opinion isn’t going to change. You may or may not agree with me, but that’s it.
- We don’t live in a post-racial society. That would infer that everyone, or the majority, is colorblind and that isn’t the case.
- I, however, like to believe that I am colorblind despite what some may say about me based on my “white privilege.”
- Did I mention that I am very self-aware about “white privilege”? And how I think “white privilege” is a fucking absurd term because it’s not a universal thing for all white people? And how being one skin color over another really isn’t a “privilege,” but rather a product of particular chromosomes bonding with someone else’s chromosomes? That I could have very easily been born as black? Hispanic? Mixed? Asian? Isn’t “privilege” something I am supposed to earn?
- We’re all human. At the end of the day, we are all flesh and blood. Each of our experiences are unique, but they’re all human experiences. Race, body fat, style, opinions, class, and everything else is all coincidental. In the end, that shit won’t matter.
- And talking is good. We can’t have peace if people keep their mouths shut.
