Christa Settle, aka DJRae, is a childhood friend of mine, professional photographer, and one hell of a DJ. Give this a listen and reblog it if you like it.

Petey Ferrini, Kidnap Santa (feat. DJ Kravatz).

This track features a pal of mine from college named Chris Kravatz. The name sound familiar? That’s because I DJ’d with him at the end of my senior year along with Gabe Grace aka Graceland. Chris specializes in something I call “nerdstep” which is EDM that centers around nerdy, niche stuff. For example, he has a wicked remix that samples “The Witch King of Angmar” from The Lord of the Rings.

This particular track samples “Kidnap the Sandy Claws” from The Nightmare Before Christmas and it’s pretty much awesome. You should definitely give it a listen. It’s really dope and has lots of hip-hop and EDM influences.
