Hey buddy!

Good. You’re finally out [of military school].

It’s time to move on to doing what you do best for the rest of your life. Being an undefeated beer pong does not count.

Hopefully, when you read this, everyone on campus knows you in a good way and the friends you’ve made are forever yours. By now, you should have made the most of every situation and ladies are part of that equation; being a jackass shouldn’t even be a variable.

Lucille Clifton asked you today, “What does it mean to be human?” You won’t know this right away, but over time you’ll understand.

Have hope. Stay strong. Laugh hard. Be legendary.
